The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS212

One knee is down and the rifle stays across the body in WS212. The soldier turns his head to the side, creating a low ready pose whose attention is not locked directly along the barrel.

The body and rifle form different lines

The bent legs gather close to the base while the rifle runs diagonally across the front. The head turns outward above the equipment, leaving the face visible beneath the helmet.

That combination gives the figure more flexibility than a kneeling rifleman already aiming. He can appear to watch a companion or something beyond the immediate forward line.

A lower companion for the standing NCO

WS211 handles his submachine gun while standing. WS212 supplies a different height, weapon and direction of attention beside him.

The pair can suggest preparation without requiring an elaborate battlefield. A small bank or wall can explain the lowered posture, provided it does not conceal the rifle and hands.

The manufacturer’s brief description anticipates action but names no battle or individual. The catalog keeps that distinction: the pose is ready and attentive, while the exact circumstances remain open.

The carried load stays visible

Packs, straps and smaller containers fill the torso and back. They give the lowered body a sense of weight, contrasting with the simple long shape of the rifle.

A side-quarter view shows the relationship between the bent legs, equipment and turned face. An overhead crop can hide the expression and make the figure look less animated than it does at display height.

WS212 adds useful variation to the infantry catalog through posture rather than a named personality or unusual accessory. Its defining details are the grounded knee, close-held rifle and sideways attention.

Placed with enough open space around the head and weapon, the figure can make a small group feel watchful without putting every man into the same firing action.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS212 product record lists a release date of November 2012 and a retirement date of August 2015. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
