King & Country WS052 Sd.Kfz. 7 Prime Mover: The Vehicle Behind the Gun Position

Prime mover describes a job

The release title emphasizes the vehicle’s towing role rather than presenting it as an armoured fighting compartment. The open seating and carried equipment reinforce that different purpose.

The WS historical overview connects the range’s artillery with the people and vehicles needed around it. A gun on a display shelf becomes part of a larger system when its transport is included.

The load adds visual weight

The saved image shows supplies behind the seating area. The stacked objects change the silhouette above the tracked chassis and make the vehicle look occupied even without extra passengers.

A front-quarter view preserves the driver, standing figure, wheels and load together.

Why the halftrack belongs in the catalog

WS052 broadens the collection beyond the firing position. It gives a historical display room to include towing, transport and the movement of crews.

The original driver-and-NCO combination, open body and carried supplies distinguish this release from a generic description of a German halftrack.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS052 product record lists a release date of May 2004 and a retirement date of May 2007. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
