The Operation ToyBox catalog · WH065

Both men in WH065 lean into their work. One holds the charge identified in the release description, while the other bends forward in the position intended for checking the gun’s sights.

A different pairing from WH064

The preceding crew release combines a shell carrier and a tall rammer figure. WH065 stays lower, with the men’s hands and forward-leaning bodies providing the main activity.

That difference makes the two groups complementary without making them interchangeable. Their codes preserve the original pairings.

The gun supplies the missing relationship

The figure described as checking the sights is easiest to understand beside the associated howitzer. Seen on his own, the same bent pose can be difficult to identify.

The catalog therefore records the original intended role while also showing the saved reference photograph. It avoids assigning a different activity simply because a loose figure has been separated from the gun.

A small scene with several kinds of work

WH062 provides the weapon and WH063 the officer. Together with the two initial crew groups, those releases let a collector show an artillery position as a group of people with different responsibilities.

The WH overview gives the wider context; the specific miniature crew is not identified with a named battery or battle.

Why keep a complete reference view?

The charge, the figure leaning toward the sights and the ground-level accessories all help identify this version. A tightly cropped photo may obscure those clues.

WH065 deserves its own entry because its two poses add another part of the artillery story. They remain a separate release even when permanently displayed beside the howitzer.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WH065 product record lists a release date of September 2016. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
