King & Country · Texas Revolution · RTA015
RTA015 presents Davy Crockett bareheaded, with a long gun held across his body. The open face and restrained stance give this miniature a different character from the familiar coonskin-cap silhouette, leaving room to consider the volunteer behind the legend.

Crockett’s actual place in the garrison
The Alamo’s document-based account of David Crockett describes a former congressman who came to Texas with a small party, enlisted as a private and joined Captain William B. Harrison’s volunteer company. He was a celebrity among the defenders, but that does not make him commander of the whole garrison—or of a large Tennessee regiment that followed him to Texas. That distinction makes a better label for this figure than simply “Alamo commander.”
One spelling that can hide a listing
Sagers preserves the release title as “Davy Crocket,” with one final t. The historical name is Crockett. Searching both spellings alongside RTA015 can find listings that a name-only search misses. Compare the pose and the base marking before treating an unfamiliar spelling as a different release. This is a useful example of why a catalog photograph and a stable set code matter together.
Display without inventing a last moment
A small group with Travis and Seguín can introduce different members of the resistance and their different experiences. Label it as a collection of people associated with the Alamo, rather than a reconstruction of a single moment. RTA015’s pose cannot establish how Crockett died, and the article does not treat a sculpted stance as eyewitness evidence.
Buying and handling notes
Inspect the projecting barrel, both hands and the edges of the coat. Request a photograph from the opposite side to the familiar catalog view, especially where the weapon meets the figure. Support the base when moving it. Sagers dates this release to September 2006 and its retirement to February 2010; those dates help identify the release, while completeness and condition still have to be judged from the particular example.
