The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD306
The second Searching for Private Ryan set adds four more figures to the screen squad. DD306 includes the sergeant, medic and remaining soldiers needed to complete the eight-man group begun in DD305.

Read the two announcements together
The first set’s release announcement names the forthcoming companions as Sgt. Horvath, Mellish, medic Wade and Caparzo. That is a clearer identification than the second announcement’s broad shorthand about a sergeant, marksman, medic and rifleman.
Jackson, the film’s familiar sniper, is already in DD305. The generic marksman wording in the DD306 description should not move him into the wrong box.
The medic changes the equipment mix
The red-cross helmet identifies the medical figure within the saved photograph. Around him, different weapon and hand positions keep the four bodies from becoming a repeated standing line.
The group is a companion release rather than a complete squad by itself. Count four figures in DD306 and four in DD305 when comparing the original paired composition.
Private Ryan is the objective, not one of these eight
The manufacturer described a standalone Ryan figure as a separate development. That distinction is useful because the set title can otherwise imply that the man being sought is included among the search party.
The scene belongs to the film’s fictional mission. It is a tribute to a screen interpretation of the war, with the characters kept distinct from named historical soldiers elsewhere in the DD catalog.
Display the two sets as individuals
A loose, slightly staggered arrangement allows the medic’s markings and each carried weapon to remain visible. The figures do not need to stand in the exact order of the promotional photograph.
DD306 completes the film group while adding its own mixture of roles and poses. Its catalog value is in identifying those four members accurately and explaining how the release relates to DD305 and the separately offered Ryan subject.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD306 product record lists a release date of October 2017 and a retirement date of June 2020. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
