King & Country DD118 Dismounted Canadian Military Policeman: The Man Keeping the Route Moving

Dismounted is part of the title

The figure stands on the ground without a motorcycle. A vehicle placed beside him in a larger display is an added companion, not an item promised by this release.

The saved image records the single figure, distinctive equipment and wide pointing arm.

A small gesture can organize a display

Placed beside a road or near DD115’s Caen sign, the figure gives passing vehicles a common direction. The relationship can be understood without an elaborate command post.

The arm also makes the figure wider than an ordinary standing soldier, so allow enough space for the gesture to remain visible.

Why this role belongs separately

DD118 brings route control into the catalog and preserves a specifically Canadian support identity. It should not be folded into the Canadian Scottish infantry simply because it appears among those releases.

That distinction makes the search categories more useful and gives the historical collection a fuller view of the people who kept the advance moving.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived DD118 product record lists a release date of July 2009 and a retirement date of November 2012. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
