King & Country WS069 Strictly Limited StuG IV: A New Finish for an Earlier Assault-Gun Subject

The shape tells a different armored story

The fixed fighting compartment creates a much lower outline than a conventional turreted tank. In the model, the long barrel becomes the principal line of movement, while the crew figures draw attention back toward the upper hull.

A side-quarter display angle makes those relationships clear. Placing the model squarely behind a wall would hide much of the low body that distinguishes it.

Five hundred was the announced edition

The original record states that 500 sets would be produced. That is a release specification; it does not tell us how many complete examples remain or establish a current market price.

The certificate and special box are useful parts of a documented example, but the three crew figures and the vehicle still need their own inspection. A numbered box cannot show whether a projecting fitting has survived.

WS069 deserves a separate place in the catalog because the manufacturer deliberately revisited an established subject with a distinct complete presentation. It is particularly useful for collectors interested in comparing successive treatments of the same vehicle type.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS069 product record lists a release date of July 2005. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
