The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS370

The rifle forms a straight line from the shoulder toward the target outside the frame. WS370 is a deliberate kneeling firing pose, with the body lowered and the head brought close to the sights.

The action is easy to read

The forward knee, supported torso and extended rifle create a clear sequence of shapes. Compared with WS362’s low-held weapon during movement, the rifle here defines exactly where the figure’s attention is directed.

The patterned jacket and plain trousers keep the upper and lower body visually distinct. The helmet is plain in the saved reference rather than wrapped in a camouflage cover.

Marksmanship claims need care

The original description links Hitler Youth training with expert shooting. A miniature cannot establish an individual soldier’s skill, and broad praise of an entire group should not be substituted for evidence.

The useful catalog description is the represented weapon, clothing and firing posture within King & Country’s Normandy HJSS range.

Compare it with the standing rifleman

A standing firing pose creates a higher horizontal line, while WS370 places the rifle much closer to the ground. The contrast can make a small group easier to read without introducing a large terrain feature.

A front-quarter image should leave the face, hands and full rifle visible. A photograph directly along the barrel hides most of the weapon’s shape.

WS370 contains one kneeling rifleman on a scenic base. Other firing figures remain separate releases, even when shown together.

Its place in the catalog is this distinct aimed posture. The plain helmet, patterned upper clothing and kneeling legs help identify the release when similar figures are grouped under abbreviated sales titles.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS370 product record lists a release date of November 2022 and a retirement date of June 2025. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
