The manufacturer places the figure with the young officer giving a report. His purpose in that intended grouping is security, rather than another senior command portrait.

The model is anonymous. The title supplies the represented task but does not identify a particular headquarters, commander or incident.

The helmet adds another outline

The steel headgear contrasts with the soft caps in the command group. The carried weapon and lower hand positions also make the bodyguard look more equipped for a security role than the smoking general.

Place him slightly apart from the map exchange so the figure’s separate task is visible. A little distance can make a small group feel organized rather than crowded.

WS280 belongs in the collection as the helmeted NCO bodyguard with lowered binoculars. The figure is sold individually; the general, map officer and aide-de-camp are separate releases.

Photographs should show the optics and weapon together so the pose is not confused with another standing German infantryman.
