DD342(B) shares the prone subject with sand-colored ground. The G version uses grass, allowing the front support and body to sit within a more continuous inland display.

This distinction is worth preserving in a searchable catalog. The weapon and pose alone do not tell a buyer which ground finish appears in the box.

Use height to lead the eye

Put a standing rifleman behind and to one side of the prone gunner, leaving the line of the Bren open. The taller figure can frame the low one without hiding it.

The crawling rifleman DD343 offers another close-to-the-ground subject but carries his weapon differently. Together they demonstrate how movement and firing can produce distinct low poses.

DD342(G) earns its place through the grass-base variant and the full prone composition. When checking a loose example, request a view that includes both the gun’s front support and the boots; neither should vanish outside a tight photograph.
