King & Country WS261 Wehrmacht Doctor: A Patient Chart Beneath the White Coat

The doctor is reading, not posing at attention

King & Country explicitly describes a military officer consulting a patient’s chart. The lowered gaze and hands give a formal standing figure a specific task.

The paper is a small detail, but it changes the whole subject. The doctor’s attention belongs to information about a patient rather than an inspection of the people around him.

A medical group needs quieter actions too

WS264 shows a nurse actively rebandaging a soldier. WS263 concentrates on writing a letter for a patient. WS261 adds the act of reviewing a record, giving the group another kind of work to depict.

Those separate tasks make a medical display more varied than a row of standing white-coated figures.

The chart should remain visible. Placing the doctor behind a tall ambulance or another figure can hide the object that explains his posture.

WS261 belongs in the catalog as a specific medical-officer subject, with the white coat, military cap and held chart forming a clear combination.

For a loose example, look for that complete set of details in the photographs. The spelling error in the archived title does not change the intended Wehrmacht doctor identity, and the small record in his hands is more informative than a generic label of officer in white coat.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS261 product record lists a release date of February 2014 and a retirement date of November 2020. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability.
