The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD260
The commando in DD260 lifts a finger to his lips while keeping a rifle low across his body. His turned head and slight bend make the warning feel directed toward someone nearby, giving this single figure an unusually clear conversational role.

A gesture that needs no caption
The manufacturer describes a man asking his companions to stay quiet as an enemy sentry approaches. The sculpt communicates the request through the hand at the mouth and the sideways attention.
The approaching sentry is outside the set. That leaves the viewer to imagine the next part of the scene, or the collector to suggest it with the placement of other figures.
The wool cap and pale equipment straps keep the British commando appearance consistent with the neighbouring releases. The rifle forms a lower diagonal beneath the raised hand.
The quiet moment belongs to a wider range of duties
The National Army Museum’s special-forces history follows raiding and reconnaissance roles alongside later larger commando operations. The small scene here concentrates on attention and restraint rather than a mass assault.
The release does not identify a real patrol or sentry. Its historical subject is interpreted through an anonymous figure and a familiar warning gesture.
Make the implied listener visible
DD256’s advancing corporal can appear to receive the warning, while DD257’s crouching officer introduces another height into the group. A slight separation between the men lets the viewer read the exchange.
Place DD260 where the finger and face remain unobstructed. A tall accessory directly in front will hide the feature that gives the set its title.
The figure adds a different kind of energy to the DD commando catalog. Nothing needs to be firing or charging for the scene to feel active: the raised hand, turned attention and implied presence beyond the base are enough.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD260 product record lists a release date of June 2015. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
