The Operation ToyBox catalog · WH122

WH122 creates a small exchange between two figures. An officer indicates something ahead while a rifleman moves with a bayonet fixed, turning a gesture into a relationship within the original set.

The pair supplies its own interaction

The archived description identifies a junior officer and an advancing soldier. The reference photograph shows the directing arm on one side and the long rifle-and-bayonet line on the other.

Those different shapes make the pair readable without needing another figure to explain the officer’s gesture.

Direction does not identify a particular event

The release does not name the officer, soldier or object of their attention. The title leaves the destination open to the collector’s interpretation.

The WH overview provides the wider military history. A chosen doorway, road or stretch of ground can support the display while remaining an added setting.

Give the bayonet enough room

The rifle projects beyond the soldier’s body, so the pair occupies more width than two standing figures with weapons held upright. A slight diagonal arrangement can show both the officer’s hand and the advancing man’s equipment.

The grassy bases link the figures visually with the newer Classic Germans sequence.

Why this belongs as a paired release

WH122 combines command and movement in one small composition. It differs from a separate pointing NCO and an unrelated rifleman collected from other sets.

Preserve the original two-man reference when recording the collection, even if the officer and soldier are eventually placed apart. Their relationship is the feature that gives this release its own identity.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WH122 product record lists a release date of November 2025. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
