The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS025

WS025 presents a Tiger I with two crew figures and turret number 131 visible in the saved photograph. The number is familiar, but the miniature still needs to be identified by its own release record and appearance.

The number is a starting point

The archived title specifies a Tiger I and two crew figures. The reference image shows the figures above the turret, a broad camouflage treatment and the tank’s long gun projecting forward.

Those details distinguish this release from other Tigers in the series. Keep the two-figure complement with the vehicle when comparing a loose example.

A famous surviving Tiger has its own history

The Tank Museum’s research on Tiger 131 documents the capture of its surviving vehicle in Tunisia and the later revision of the account of where it happened.

The shared number alone should not be used to assert that every detail of WS025 reproduces that museum vehicle at a particular moment. Markings, finish and configuration need their own evidence.

Look at the crew arrangement

The two figures create different points of attention above the turret. A slightly elevated viewing angle keeps both visible while still showing the broad hull and track runs.

Heavy scenery along both sides would hide much of the tank’s outline. Leaving one side open makes a better reference display.

Why the code remains important

A search for “Tiger 131” can return many models from different makers and periods. WS025 narrows that search to this King & Country release and its original crew combination.

The entry is useful because it preserves those distinctions instead of letting a famous number replace the set’s actual identity.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS025 product record identifies this release but leaves its release and retirement dates blank. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
