The Operation ToyBox catalog · WH027
WH027 pushes a loaded wheelbarrow. The long wooden handles, single wheel and pale material in the tray make a surprisingly complete work scene from one figure and one familiar piece of equipment.

The load gives the pose a reason
The release description presents the task as moving soil. In the reference photograph, the engineer leans into the handles, with the barrow extending well in front of his own base.
That forward extension matters for both display and identification. This is a longer composition than a standing worker, even though it remains a modest subject beside a military vehicle.
Earth had to be moved by someone
Trenches, positions and building work all involved ordinary physical tasks. A wheelbarrow makes that labour visible without needing a complex construction scene.
The U.S. Army’s wartime engineer history offers a broader account of the engineered landscape encountered in Europe. The miniature contributes the human scale of work within such a setting.
Give the wheel a believable route
A narrow clear strip through a display is often enough to explain where the figure is going. If large rocks fill every space in front of the wheel, the implied movement becomes difficult to read.
A standing engineer nearby can provide contrast, while a low patch of disturbed ground suggests a destination without overwhelming the barrow.
A useful change of emphasis
The WH collection gains something from a subject whose main object is a tool for carrying material. It adds process and movement to the engineer group, rather than another man waiting with equipment.
For a secondhand example, compare the handles, wheel and relationship between figure and barrow with the saved photograph. The complete arrangement is what makes WH027 recognizable, and the long projecting parts deserve a closer view than a group shot usually provides.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WH027 product record lists June 2015 as the release date and April 2021 as the retirement date. Those are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
